How these predictions are made

Bookmakers build a margin into their prices, so the probabilities implied by their odds always add up to more than 100%. We strip that margin out: each bookmaker’s prices are converted to probabilities and divided by their sum, then averaged across every bookmaker we track. What is left is the market’s honest view of each outcome, and the prediction shown is simply whichever outcome that view rates highest.

The percentage beside each tip is how often the market expects that result. A 70% pick is expected to lose about three times in every ten. We publish no “sure” games, no fixed matches and no guarantees. Every prediction on this page is logged before kick-off and checked afterwards — see how accurate our numbers have been — and our track record lists every daily single we have published, including the losers.
